Malama Manoa is celebrating it's 20th year of community service at a gala event Thursday evening, December 13, 2012.
The celebration at the Manoa Grand Ballroom in the Japanese Cultural Center will include no-host cocktails, a silent auction with spectacular offerings, dinner with wait service, and entertainment including the Punahou Jazz Band for dancing.

An extensive photographic montage of 20 years of Malama Manoa activities and programs will be mounted in the foyer outside the ballroom.
The silent auction will include lunch with Governor Abercrombie and the First Lady, a Burl Burlingame VIP tour of the Pacific Aviation Museum including lunch, a lamp made of salt that really works, and other unique offerings.
Ramsay Taum, the noted Hawaiian cultural expert, will make a presentation concerning ancient Hawaiian history.
We are especially pleased to take this opportunity to honor three of our long-time members who embody the spirit of our mission: "To promote community, celebrate our cultural diversity and heritage, and preserve, protect, and enhance the special qualities of historic Manoa Valley".
